For gamers who crave old school side-scrolling shooters but much better than the dozens of classic shooters and done with an upgrade on visuals, this game does it right. I have never heard of the Castle Shikigami series, but the price tag $10 make it a magnet. It was alot of fun, not as excellent as R-Type Final which had dozens and dozens of weapons and options, but it does carry it's own in terms of unique arsenals of each character. These type of game are rare nowadays for the new generation of games shifting to 3D, would be nice to see more of it. To date the top Shooters released in the US either for PS2 or GameCube are: 1. Ikaruga (GameCube) Excellent!!! 2. R-Type Final (PS2) Excellent!!! 3. Gradius V (PS2) Very Good 4. Castle Shikigami (PS2) Good
