Castlevania (1998)

Awesome game, despite some harsh reviews

First out, I love this game. It was the first Castlevania game I played (back then it scared the crap out of me because i was like 6) and started my passion for the Belmonts. It had some fun bosses, frights (well....for a 6 year old...maybe the chainsaw-toting gardener and is demon dogs are still scary) and is now a forever lasting memory in my mind.

Time spent- Play through this game all the time, start new files all the time, never gets tired

Difficulty- Some parts can be super hard and takes forever to get it down (the exploding potion quest...remember that, kiddies), but over all it's average

Sound- So good, I'll occasionaly just start whistling the tunes not realizing it.

Graphics- Sorta bad. But, then again, I don't pay much attention to graphics.

  After playing all of the 3D games in the series I can safely say that the N64 has been the only console to get it right!
