been there done that but still great

This is a great game and it's much like SOTN but only in design.
non linear metroid style

graphics - The graphics are pretty nice although most character models have only a few frames of animation for most things such as the main character model has about 3 frames when running.
Other than that the graphics are nice.

sound - The sound is great but I prefer the tracks from the other GBA games to this one. The melodies are nice to listen to but again the music is somewhat bland with the other GBA games having much more lively tracks.

gameplay - Now this game along with every other handheld castlevania game made after this except 1 has the same style of gameplay as SOTN.
it's a non linear metroid style game with a bunch of paths, RPG elements, and several other similarities.
This game may not be as great as SOTN but neither are the other GBA games, not even the DS games truly compare to the guineas design of SOTN.

special charm - A nice way to have non linear castlevania on the go.

final feelings - a great game all over but it has to be the worst out of the GBA trilogy.

foot notes: I listed that this game is hard but it's not as hard as you might think.

personal incidents: about 60% through the game I was ridiculously low on health and after using EVERY HEALING ITEM I PICKED UP TO THAT POINT I still had some health missing.
I never used any healing items until that point but still it wasn't enough to heal me enough to make my health full.
That's annoying.
