Please Konami, please help!

The first video game i ever played was the original Castlevania. Throughout the years, Castlevania had been getting better. Castlevania IV kicked ass and SOTN was incredible. The GBA brought back the goodness of SOTN, but what did the PS2 do? It made LoI, a 3D castlevania that was an o.k. one.
What happened? This whole time i've been wanting SOTN freedom and exploration with LOI gameplay and combat.
CoD is good because the graphics are well done and the voice acting is some of the best yet. But the levels get real boring, no real puzzles to solve, and combat gets repetative. Sure, i believe it's a step up from LoI, but not by much. I'm very diappointed with Konami, and i paid 49.99 for this? When the next Castlevania comes out, i'm renting it. I used to beleive in you Castlevania...what happened? Please...don't make me hate the series of games i started out playing...please...
