It's been a while since I returned the castlevania series, and I feel like I am playing a children's game.
The gameplay:
This reminds me of all the originals, and it also adds on to more of the Symphony of the Night, which is by far the best castlevania to date. So, if were just to start off and never played this game before, it would take you only minutes to understand. There is some complexities with the soul releases and the weapon making, but it takes seconds to understand. Learning how to use magic is simple. The only thing I don't understand is why did they incorporate the whole magic seal using the stylus, I feel like it's just an add-on to it, and it's a waste because I am an old school game, and I usually put the stylus down instead of always holding it while I play. Ah well, overall everything is awesome and enjoyable!
The Graphics:
I love the anime style in the game, but not when the main character looks like a girl! The one thing I loved was how smooth everything runs, especially when you walk and there is that glimmer of shine behind you, awesome. The monsters are creative and looks especially well! The bosses look amazing and interesting. It's amazing that everything looks the way it does, especially on a small screen lol.
Story:
Well, Ceclia, is a leader of a cult, and is trying to bring back the lord of darkness: Dracula, but in order to do that, she must kill Soma, in order to get his essence of darkness out of him and put into someone else, but of course we are not having that! lol So, you try to foil your plans and yah, that sums it up. lol
Overall:
once again, I wish they would have made this into a darker older game instead of a E rating for children. I feel like a nerd gaming with this in public since I am 22. lol ah well, my girlfriend laughs at me, but ah well, i join in too. It is a good game and people will enjoy this game and others! So if you wanna get this game, do it. It's fun and like SofN.
