This game, flat out, is the most long lasting fun game on the DS. The replay value alone is worth the price. Beating the game with Soma, beating the game with Belmont and crew (which is a very different experience), beating the game on hard mode with Soma/Belmont, the boss rush mode and finally the multi player monster layout.

Just look at the above description. There is so much game time bang for the buck it is unbelievable. Plus, as mentioned in the 1up review, if you are a collector junkie you will indeed go insane collecting the 100+ monster souls in the game. Add in the fact that each soul changes your characters attack or movement...and you have so many ridiculous ways to play this game.

The music, sound and graphics are all top notch for a DS game. The challenge initially is average at best, but the other modes easily scratch your hardcore gamer itch (and I have a big hardcore itch). The only lame part of this game is the story. But I see that as only a small crack on this beautifully crafted game.

If you enjoy 2-D action platforming and own a DS, you MUST buy this game. This game is so great I almost forgot I even owned a console at all.
