If it wasn't so short, it would be some of the best in the series

The Castlevania series has its place in history, with legendary games such as Castlevania for the NES and Symphony of the Night. As it went 3D, it was kind of a let down, but on the PS2, the game is a least worth checking out.

GRAPHICS:
The graphics are very good and the art is fantastic, fiting very well with the feel of the castle.5/5

SOUND:
The music is good, but dosen't stand out like some other games in the franchise.3/5

GAMEPLAY:
The game is an action adventure. To tell the truth, it is kinda of a rip off of Devil May Cry, as the controls are very similar, such as the moves of the characters and the overall feel. While it is kinda disapointing, it is not a bad thing, as the game can be very fun. You have to explore 5 parts of the castle and then you face the final boss. As much as it is fun exploring the castle and getting all the secrets, it is too short. I bet this game in 5 hours, though it has some replayability due to the fun factor and the secrets.4/5

OVERALL:
If you are a fan of the series, the game is sure to worth buying, and everyone else i think it maybe at least worth a rent.
