If you are a hardcore Castlevania fan then you should buy this game.

Castlevania The Adventure came out to the Gameboy in December 1989. The graphics weren't that good but at least you got the idea of what you are to do. When you first start out you think it is not a bad Castlevania game. When you get your first and second whip upgrade you think it is not bad until you get hit. When you get hit you go back one whip upgrade so if you are not playing very well it is probably because you have to beat the boss with the leather whip.
Another flaw that can get on your nerves is the fact that Christopher Belmont doesn't jump very well. It gets to a point that you get annoyed that Christopher Belmont can't jump very well.

The gameplay is very good you just have to press couple of buttons you don't have to do any combos. B is to attack A is to jump D pad is to move in the direction start is pause.

Overall this game is a very good game but has some fatal flaws that with hold it from getting a higher score.
