Only worth playing for Symphony Of The Night

As a 28 year old I've played pretty much every Castlevania game ever made, so I thought it would be awesome to finally play Rondo (which was never released here.) It beckons back to the old Ghouls n Ghost games that were just so impossibly hard that it made you want to just turn it off. I love a challenge, but the control is just so bad and the animations so dreadful that killing enemies is often a chore. After unlocking Symphony Of The Night (which took me an hour due to the ridiculous difficulty) I haven't touched the main game since. It's amazing to have a portable version of my favourite side-scroller of all time. Symphony is just awesome in every way. I would have spent $50 just to play it on my PSP - it's really that good. Symphony - 10/10 every time. Classic.
Rondo- 2/10. Boring and infuriating.
