I liked this installment of Castlevania because the main story doesn't evolve "level up." Plain old-school side-scroll.

Among the 2 characters the main game offered, I like the girl better because of the double forward jump and slide. To some extent, this game is similar to Mega Man, except in a different setting. Overall, the game isn't too hard, unlike some of the GBA Castlevania games I have played. It's definitely a good game to have on the train/bus. It's not too time consuming.
I personally didn't enjoy the add-on game because of tedious level up and I am not a hardcore gamer anymore. But I assume it provides a different realm to some of the more serious gamers.
