When we think about castlevania, all the fans remember the metroidvanization konami made; it was an excellent option that made the series much better, but after several years the fans always wanted to play the classic rondo of blood but no responses of IGA. Then one day from nowhere konami decide to make true the dreams of all fans. The as we expected the game was great an instant classic.

The game is a truly remake of the classical never released rondo of blood,
The game play is side scrolling (2 dimensional) but for the remake they make from zero and use rendered graphics now looking in 3D.Its learning curve it a bit hard, its not for every one, but with practice you will get a idea of the enemy base attacks an learn how to dodge them, the same for the bosses.

In addition to the Dracula x chronicles, the classic rondo of blood is the same game play but much harder than DXC, and the Playstation one Castlevania symphony of the night, and this is the one that starts in that year, the metroidvanization on all the games from now on.

Castlevania SOTN like Koji Igarashi says is the Playstation version but with some of the additions from the Saturn version but no extra map or glitches.
