Very Satisfying

Okay, I hear a lot of people complaining about the difficulty, but actually I think it is one the easiest "old school" Castlevania games, which of course is not a bad thing. Yes you die a lot, and it can be frustrating at times, but the game isn't impossible, and the difficulty makes it all the more satisfying once you beat it. I really have no gripes about the main game. My only real complaint is with the extra game that everyone loves and raves about. That's right, I'm talking about Symphony of the Night. Now if you've never played this game before, then you're in for a wild and great ride. But if you've grown up with the original like me, then you'll be pretty peeved off about the replacement of the original voice acting. Yes the dialogue is a little better as well as tha actual voice acting, but not by a lot. All the character's voice replacement aren't so terrible and are in some cases waaay better (I'm looking at you Sucubus) , with the exception of the main character: Alucard. Gone is the deep haunting voice of the original, replaced with some higher pitched almost whiny young man's voice. Ugh. Since I originally bought the game just so I could play Symphony of the Night, I almost returned the game as soon as Alucard uttered his first lines. Fortunately for me however, the main game which is the remake of Rondo of Blood is quite fantastic. I'll just stick to playing the xbox live version of SOTN. So if you bought the game just to play SOTN and don't mind Alucard's new terrible voice, then the SOTN game is just as fantastic as you remembered it.
