Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles is a remake of Rondo Of Blood with better graphics. Great boss fights make it fun.

You play as Richter Belmont who is trying to save his love and slay Dracula. As you fight your way through the game you find an ally in a young girl named Maria who summon animals to aid her. She is also a playable character. The graphics look great compared to the original and are good for a handheld game. The game play is basically the same as the old Castlevania games just jump, walk and attack with whip nothing special there. You can do a special move with your whip to where unleashes a powerful attack. There is no leveling up system like some Castlevania games. As for the stages random ghouls, bats, skeletons etc attack you just like the old games. The boss fights are challenging and fun. The game also has other modes like a boss rush mode which are cool too. What makes this game worth the money is the fact that you can unlock the original Rondo Of Blood and Symphony Of Night. This game will be great for diehard Castlevania fans and newcomers can experience some of Castlevania finest classics.
