Quite possibly the greatest game ever made.

Castlevania is one of those games that get better with time. After all the games I have played in my life. This game is one of them that I can pick up, play for an hour beat, and go back and beat it again the next day. Great reason to still own the NES, and I am glad I never sold this game. It stays in my NES waiting to be played again

Castlevania is epic. The story is ther faintly. reading the instruction booklet you learn your character is Simon Belmont. A decendant of Leon Bemount who is the first Dracula killer. Eventually Simon goes on a quest to finish Dracula and his dark forces. But the quest is not easy.... it will use all of Simons skills and tactics to finish Dracula.

In compared to games out now, on our 7th gen consoles, this game would hold up due to its simple controls, addicting soundtrack and replay value. something that not very many games have today. Castlevania is but no stretch my favorite video game series, but this game is easily in my top 10 games ever made.
