An enjoyable and impressively looking game.
Story
The game revolves around Vincent who has a girlfriend called Katherine with a K things are moving forward very nicely for them but one day he meets up with another woman called Catherine with a C who he ends up sleeping with for a number of days and everytime he falls asleep he goes into this strange nightmare that he has to escape.
Gameplay
The game focuses on conversations at a bar in the middle of the day and he looks for possibly good advice from friends or staff at the bar. He has a phone that goes off and he can choose to whether reply to the caller or not changing certain aspects in his life.
At night when he goes to sleep he has to climb like a big tower pushing blocks and making it to the top of the tower before the platforms dissappear. At the end of each level there is a question before moving onto the next. Also to escape the nightmare he has to escape a certain thing that could be giving him trouble in his life or the thoughts which ever way you want to look at it and these are the testing parts of the game.
You get given hints by these other people stuck in the nightmare that aid you and also you get hazards like spikes,ice and other obstacles to keep things fresh and challenging.
Are there any flaw yes sometimes some of the areas espcially the boss areas can get frustrating and revolve around you to think fast and also sometimes you can get a bit lost on where to place certain blocks and that can cause possible deaths. Even on Easy it's no cakewalk.
Presentation
Nice colorful cartoon Japanese like style graphics and characters.
Lastability
About 8 hours for the main campaign there are other modes to try but might you might just want to play the Single Player and that's it for the story but it does have different ending giving you reason to playthrough it a couple of times.
Overall Opinion
Catherine whilst it does have it's flaws is a fun,unique and challenging game. It has some character and trys to be different to most games these days. An enjoyable game but it is tough.
