Why can't anyone make a game with a character like Catwoman that plays like Splinter Cell or Ninja Gaiden? I like a third person game with a view and this game is like Prince of Persia with a view. I would rather watch Halle Berry jump around than the Prince. I would rather watch a Samantha Fisher sneak around than a Sam. I would rather play as the busty blond ninja than as Ryu. I buy games like Rogue Ops, Bloodrayne, Alias, etc. because the main character can hold my interest longer - on a primal level. Aren't the majority of gamers young, healthy, straight males? I also feel a need to protect a hot female lead character more and I get ticked when the bad guys try to hurt her - again, more male instincts. I can forgive a game like Catwoman because its really not all that bad and when Halle Berry slowly climbs a fence, she has my undivided attention. The controls are a little strange but I got used to them pretty fast. After that, it seemed a lot like Prince of Persia to me. Only the fighting sequences aren't as frustrating as Prince. Realistically, sex appeal can only take a game so far and I agree with a lot of what the GameSpot reviewer writes. But I would like to see more female heroines in better games if only to make the 20 hours or so of game play a little more interesting!
