Celeste is a game about a young woman named Madeline who travels to Celeste Mountain with the intention of challenging herself to climb it. She makes amazing friends on the mountain, and faces many obstacles - including a part of herself in the form of another body who represents Madeline's depression and anxieties, in which is actually the main struggle with her climbing the mountain.
Even if tight platformers like this one aren't your thing, I'd encourage you to check this game out. It's easy to figure out what you have to do, but sometimes it's not easy to do it. Regardless, it keeps you immersed and encourages you to go the extra mile even when you are struggling. (Of course there is an Assist Mode if you're in a trying time with the game)
Our determination and the protagonist's are one in the same with the goal to climb our own mountain - meaning despite the doubts and possible struggles with mental health issues, the game has a beautiful way of showing you that the darkest parts of you are usually the ones that need love the most, so you can nurture them to grow together, instead of trying to grow apart.
