Just plain fun, has great multiplayer! Could've been better though.

User Rating: 8.5 | CellFactor: Psychokinetic Wars X360
Cell factor is a great a great multiplayer game. I have enjoyed it mainly for its split screen play, but I will go into the game some more.

Split screen: First of all the split screen is terribly fun. Most games recently don't have bots anymore, and if they don't have bots they definitely don't have split screen with bots. This game does. This makes it fun to play co-op with a friend where its just you two against a bunch of bots set on hard mode.

Gameplay: The game is basically a classic tournament styled shooter. You and other players are in symmetrical maps where you duke it against each other, or against bots. There are three classes that are all unique from each other and balance the game quite well.

Psychic girl thing (Bishop): She is one of the weaker classes. She can't use weapons as well as the other classes because her weapons are all psychic. If she gets a shotgun then she fires psychic shrapnel. If she gets a rocket launcher she fire psychic energy balls that explode. Also she can't snipe with the sniper rifle. The best thing is she uses a lot of special moves like: picking up objects, creating shields, flinging ten objects at once at an enemy (epic) and being able to fly. Basically you could classify her as a Mage.

Special op dude: He is the all round guy. He can carry guns, and use them normaly. He also has some psychic abilities of his own like picking up objects, creating a shield, and a super effective teleporting move. Teleporting may be hard to master at first, but if you correctly you can win almost any battle.

Terminator (guardian): This robot is the heavy weapons guy. He can duel wield any gun. Yes any gun. That means duel wielding shotguns, rockets, sniper rifles, etc.. This makes great combos like a sniper rifle mixed with a rocket launcher. He has no psychic abilities, but he can side make mini side step jumps, he can run fast and run over people, and he can make super jumps.

Each class is good for different people because some players may like special abilities over heavy weapons, while other people may want a mix.

Maps: The maps are kind of generic, but they're still good. There are about six or seven maps and each one is made for different kinds of combat. Some levels are long corridors, while others are small but open up. There are two big levels that are fun.

Weapons: The game leaves you with only several weapons that you can pick up. You spawn with pistol. Guns: Assault rifle, shotgun, sniper rifle, and rocket launcher. The guns are pretty well even, so no gun is better than the other. This is good and bad. The rocket launcher is powerful, but not the best, the assault rifle is really fast but not really powerful. The sniper is accurate and deadly, but has low ammo, and the shotgun has dangerous range for a shotgun but is still limited to a distance. The most annoying thing is that all guns are dead accurate. I mean I use the pistol like a sniper rifle and shoot people on the other side.

Announcer: There is an option to turn him off. You have to because he is so annoying its funny.

Music: Generic future techno

Multiplayer: Besides split screen there are ranked playlists, and normal playlists. You can face people online though no one, I mean NO ONE is even online which makes it impossible to earn some the games achievements. There are several gametypes: Deathmatch, Team deathmatch, assault, and capture the flag. They're all fun gametypes.

AI: The AI's on the robots are kind of random. Sometime they're just running around. That is basically how they work: they run around until they find an item, or an enemy. On the level Angel's wall the bishop will always hover in this one area for the entire game. Though on hard difficulty enemies can get hard.

Summary: Its an over all good arcade game that is really cheap. The thing about this game is that it was good when it came out a while ago, and for the price it was excellent. But now arcade games have gained quality so this game is nowhere as impressive as it first was. Also this game isn't for everyone. There is no campaign, just challenges, and there is no crouch button which means this game doesn't have any sneaking element to it.

Good game.
