Though it can be really fun, you look back only to find several flaws

As a child i loved this game. I thought it was one of the best games there was, but as i replayed this i found so many frustrations that my childhood not only suffered but must of blocked out most of the time

Story 5/10: You start off as one of 4 chameleon of your choice, either way they all have the same story. Your a chameleon just having a normal day when you see a white rabbit and follow him into an unusal world......but theres no reason to all of it. There is no true story behind it explaining who the rabbit is, or what he wants with you..or why you even followed him. Its a fairy tale world with no fairy tale story.

Gameplay 6.5/10: It has its ups and downs to it. Its a standard platform with running and jumping and using to your abilities which in this case is your toungue. You swallow enemies and spit them back out, use your tounge to grab and reach poles to either pull you forward or spin around to the other side, or perform an unusal backflip for higher altittudes. All of this surrounded by puzzels, ledges, and special crowns to collect for unlockables. It has some unique puzzles and interesting gameplay but its surrounded with several frustrations. Your running is incredibly slow even to compared to other platforms like mario 64, or bomberman hero. The controls are kinda frustrating in both areas. Turning a certian direction while running will take more than one try which is to rough, your toungue is the exact opposite where controls are lose so staying in a straight line is somewhat difficult. Other times camera problems occur. If your trying to collect the crowns, you have to guess were certian ones are because they dont show the platform its on nor the platfrom to get to it. And a few puzzles you have guess on the situation. The highlight of the game are the bosses. Even though the controls are just using you tongue, it has creative ideas like flipping over your enemy with a pole spin, or knocking the enemy off the cliff or swallowing so many enemies that you have to spit them all back till hes shrunk to a certian size. Thought levels can be boring, sometimes the end of them can be worth it.

Graphics 6/10: Very simple, but a little to plain. The chameleons design is humorous to some but to childish to others, the enemies look paper drawn 3-D so they're not true 3-D. Bosses do look nice again making them the highlight of the game.

Its good for kids but mediocore for anyone older. While it can be really fun, you look back only to find several flaws.
