This game was released at almost the same time as Baldur's Gate II. They are really similar to eachother, except for the fact that you can play this game with another person online. I never played this online, so I can't rate the online experience. The storyline is just as corny as in Baldur's Gate II, and the gameplay is just as fun. If you enjoy hack and slash, action RPGs, this is a good game to pick up. I had a fun time with it and have been meaning to pick up the sequel, which will allow you to use saved profiles from this game. Although, I feel the first Baldur's Gate is currently the best game of this type for the PS2, I would still recommend this game to any hack and slash, action RPG fans.
