A rare overhead co-op real time RPG for the PS2 has everything you would expect and is a lot of fun to play.
Single player mode was a lot of fun - but it didnt compare to the fun you could have in co-op mode.
In this game you get to create your own hero: name, attributes, class, etc. and then ebark on the world. This game took everything that was good about Champions of Norrath and built on it.
The graphics and sound were a bit underwhelming, but the leveing, combat system and storyline was fantastic althought far from epic or memorable.
This is basically my home base game. Inbetween games when you don't know what to play, play this it's solid, fun and great as a multiplayer.
Basically this is a button masher and an item pick up game, spells are very effective and the classes are different enough where the game will feel a lot different depending on what you choose.
What's really cool about this game is you get to pick whether or not you are good or evil. There are 2 different storylines and they are done in a well enough way that yes, you feel a little evil choosing the evil path.
This is a solid as the genre gets, it just doesnt have all the bells and whistles that other RPGs have in regards to sound and graphics.
