An honest review of a good management game.

User Rating: 8.2 | Championship Manager PSP
Ill keep this review quick and simple. Also i am a football manager 2005 and 2006 player and i got this because its the only football management game on the psp at the moment.

Gameplay: Its a text based football management expirence made by gusto games. (NOte its not made by the original creators of Championship manager. It has a few bugs etc and a very hard to win games. No matter who you are its very hard so keep that in mind when you buy it. Its all there, this isnt some watered down version of CM its a proper full game with a HUGE database and its also quick loading times. The 2d match engine is quite good, i would say better than CM5 on the PC.

Graphics: Well there arnt actually any graphics in the game as its all mostly text execpt the 2d match engine which dosent look all that great, but the reason for the 9 in the interface, it looks so clear and crisp on the LCD screen and really is amazing.

Sound: There isnt really any sound in the game except the music which is fine for a couple of days but it may annoy you after a while (like me, i turned it off). The Crowd noises are pretty good, although the quality isnt great its still all good for a Portable game.

Value: This game is very addictive, you may be put off at the start by never winning games but stick with it, study your opponents streghts and weakness and use a tactic to match them and you will start winning.

Pros: Huge database, boasting 30,000 players and more staff.
a lovely interface with a great look and feel to it
Has been ported to the PSP very well controls are very easy
Its CM handheld, what more could you ask for?

Cons: The difficulty! so FRICKING hard but stick with it and you will start winning games.

The Match engine looks good but is a bit unrealistic.

An annoying song

OVERALL: I will be getting Football manager 2006 psp, no doubt it will be better but for those who cant wait this is a perfect soloution and is a good game.
