Your fingers will hurt when you finish playing Chaos Field, because it's pure shoot-em up, it has a few minor flaws

User Rating: 7.3 | Chaos Field GC
This game has a quite simple gameplay: shoot everything in front of you untill you die, it has a vertical scrolling level system, and it tries to follow the concept of other games like Ikaruga or Raiden, but it doesn't manages the same, this one has more flaws, it lacks a story, it has some weird mechanics and controls, but it has great graphics.

Chaos Field isn't as intuitive to pick up and play as most games like this. You've got three fairly different ships to choose from, but it's the actual mechanics of the action that take some getting used to. By pressing and holding the B button, you'll automatically fire away with your ship's main weapon: Hal's blue ship spits outs plasma in sort of a spread pattern; Ifumi's red ship emits continuous streams of medium-range laser fire that locks onto targets; and Jinn's yellow ship fires thick bolts of lightning.

Overall: Chaos Field may keep you busy for a few hours, but don't expect a greatness of a game.
