This shooter takes some getting used to.
Although the game was quite frustrating at first, it became more enjoyable once you got a hold of the controls and how the character moves. At first it was demoralizing constantly falling into the same chasms over and over again, but again, with practice the game becomes more enjoyable.
The game is more of a shooter than a platform action game. The screen auto scrolls as you make your way through the hordes of enemies coming from all directions of the screen. The power ups and quite useful and can really make a difference in the tougher levels.
I would recommend renting this one first to make sure this is your cup of tea. :)
