The programmers were too lazy to fix the bugs from the previous version!

This seems to be the exact same game as CM1000, complete with bugs from from CM1000 that Ubisoft was too lazy to even bother to fix!

The game clearly has some kind of graphics bug, talked about at the ubisoft forums, that causes the CPU to stay at 100% on some (most? all? only with Windows XP?) computers, which causes problems.

So I don't know how to score this. It gets a zero for not fixing known bugs from the previous version. Otherwise, it would be a really nice chess game because it looks really pretty, has excellent tutorials, and provides an excellent variety of weaker opponents for people are aren't Grandmaster-level chess players. I guess the average between 9.0 and 0.0 is 4.5.

I do know that, despite this game's good points, I was very disappointed to see how little Ubisoft cares about quality control. Carrying over bugs from the previous version is just outrageous behavior.

    Nice chess game, but many bugs and mistakes
