Who would've thought a game out of a cereal box could be so good?
The Good:
-The action is intense and keeps you on your toes.
-5 balanced difficulty levels makes the game as challenging as you choose.
-Graphics were relatively good for its time, both with the characters and environments.
-Guns sounded good and the aliens sounded very intimidating.
-Almost each area has multiple ways in which you can beat it. Patient players will find many time-saving shortcuts.
-Cheat codes make the game incredibly fun.
The Bad:
-Only 5 levels, and they don't take long to beat. There's also only one boss, but what do you expect out of 5 levels?
That's really the only complaint I can make about Chex Quest. If there were more levels put in, this game could've been so much more. But again, it came in a cereal box, and it's not designed to be revolutionary.
