Although not one of my favorite RPG's, Chrono Cross is a game all RPG fans should play. Some people like to bash the system, saying it's pointless and 'we could have lived without it'. I think it was 'different' and the point of this is to avoid redundancy.

The system is actually pretty cool. (I'm a fiend for trying new systems). For more ownage you must take the environments current status into consideration before casting a spell. If you just enjoy selecting 'attack' and then heal when need it be, this game is not for you. For me to finish an RPG, I must be drawn to it. I definitely finished this one. The more the story got vague, the more I wanted to get through to the end .
