Finally a sequel that doesn't completely suck.

Chrono Trigger was one of Square's greatest games ever made. It's one of my favorite games too. So when Chrono Cross, the highly anticipated sequel came out, I got it the first day out. While other sequels have disappointed me, this made me feel like I was playing a brand new game!

Gameplay/Story: The new story is about a boy named Serge who is thrown into a strange dimension. He teams up with Kid, a young girl who is arch-enemies with a cat-like Lynx. Instead of different times, it's different dimensions to keep the time stream hunky-dorey! You can see the characters from Chrono Trigger, but not a continuation.

System: To top the untoppable Chrono Trigger, Square made a new system to fight. Very good.

Graphics: For a PlayStation game, this had very good graphics. CG in this is as good as the PS2 and XBOX CGs.

Sound: No voices, but very good music.

Value: GameSpot only gives 10s to great games, so obviously, this is a game you need in your collection.
