this has got to be the most epic journey that ive played since FFVII
First, the story to me is so deep and intricate, that being confused like I was is okay, because I like guessing whats gouing to happen in the story, and thats how Ilike my RPG stories. The other main focus on the game is Serge, the main character, just like Chrono, he is quiet and a good hearer, and only talks when you say something. Its not a real problem as a matter of fact, I think if he did talk, all off the scenes would be twice as long. Aonther main character in this game is named Kid, who is rally supposed to be the person who somehow saved Serge in some accident 7 years ago, and later find out more about both of how Serge, and Kid are linked together.
Next, the gameplay is something that I love that I think no ones even thought of before, and its just amazing on how it feels so cool to attack more than once with a character. you see instead of just the usual routine of one hit and your turns over, Square decided to add a new element with stamina points. you start out with a total of 7, and for each hit you make depletes it for example a fierce hit would cost 3 points, so your stmaina count would now have 4 left. I think it works perfectly, and gives it a little more edge with the new element system. I at first thought this would be a gimmick, but innate colors really are cool, and gives this game another tweak by adding summons to certain types of characters based on what color they are, they can pull of incredible powers, and each summon is as cool as the next too. six innate colors, and each one goes against eachother for power, red and blue, green and yellow, and the most coolest white and black.
thats pretty much it for Chrono Cross, and I'm still playing it to see all alternate endings.
