Square's best RPG doesn't begin with the word Final...
Gameplay: Simply the most unique and intriguing gameplay of its time. It's 'percent' system adds so much more strategy to the game when compared to other rpg's. The menu's in the game are gorgeous and easy to navigate... you won't get bogged down with confusion (like with GF's and abilities in FF7 and FF8). The crazy amount of characters adds to the variety of strategies that you can take up, and with each one having several unique skills...well.. you do the math...
Graphics: The environment is lush, and although now grainy, looked flawless during its time. The "World Map" and hundreds of different enemies keep this game from seeming dull or repetitive. Sound: The games best quality. The songs in this game are unforgettable... the sound effects of the ocean, and attacks are either soothing or scary! The games sound allows the game to fully live up to Square's reputation, without having clanky or annoying songs...
Value: I will never sell this game, and with 30+ characters and dozens of ways to go through the game, it will never be the same experience twice. This is the only reason I kept my PSone.
Reviewer's Tilt: 10 .. I think this game is perfect, and so does nearly everyone else...
