Chrono Trigger, oh what a game it was. Filled with time travel, vigorous and constant changing of environments and scenery, and a truly great elemental-fighting system. It was one of the only RPG's of the SNES generation that could hold its own against the Final Fantasy dynasty of the times. The storyline was by far the best part of the game, however. Time travel, combined with magic, combined with great characters. It all added up to be one of the best Turn-based RPG experiences the SNES would ever offer, and honestly, I don't think there's been a better non-Final Fantasy, turn-based RPG for the Nintendo since. It was so good, knowing there are sequels (Chrono Cross) is just discouraging, because you just know in your heart, nothing can match up to that classic Trigger experience.
