Before Chrono Trigger was re-released on the Playstation console, ebay prices on the original classic were $300+ and for good reason: Chrono Trigger is the type of classic that's once in a lifetime. Memorable characters, inspired plot development, an amazing and moving soundtrack, and the often forgotten "magic" of fantasy brewed together in a concoction and conjunction of Squaresoft's finest, Chrono Trigger becomes the brew of the immortals. Chrono Trigger is a feel good title, not in the sissy way, and definitely not the Oprah or Dr. Phil way, Chrono Trigger captures the issues of adulthood, the adventures of adolescence, and the fond memories of innocence and youth, molds them all together and catapults itself among the brightest stars of the gaming universe. A brilliant release, (or re-release depending on your viewpoint) with a polished score and story-fitting anime style cut scenes; Chrono Trigger was definitely worth the wait.
