Let me say this, from the bottom of my heart: This game is undoubtably One of The Best Video Games I've Ever Played!!!

User Rating: 10 | Chrono Trigger SNES
Square-soft and Enix, two of the best video game companies in the world. Square was known for the Final Fantasies, and Enix for the Dragon Quest's.
Both of the franchises are filled with great games, and people just couldn't get enough of them. But some people, like me, wondered: "What if Square and Enix joined together to make a game that would stand as the best one ever?" Something similar happened. Some members of Square, like Hironubo Sakagushi and Nobuo Uematsu, and Enix, like Yuji Horii and Akira Toriyama, and a few more people, joined together to form a team called "Dream Team". The Dream Team was only formed for one reason: Make a game that would be marked in the history of Video Games. So, they came up with a game called "Chrono Trigger", and after that, the Dream Team was gone.
Chrono Trigger was expected to be a great game, but we were wrong... IT WAS A MASTERPIECE!!!

The game is about a group of kids (no spoiling) that found out that the world was doomed after a few years, and they decided to time-travel to different times to stop that from happening. I have just resumed the main plot, but there is also a great and detailed story behind each character.

The grafics are the most amazing thing you'll probably see in a Super Nintendo. The character design is awesome! They look alot like the Dragon Ball characters, curiously because the character designer is the creator of the anime.

About the soundtrack, let me say loud and clear: THIS IS TRULY THE BEST SOUNDTRACK I'VE EVER SEEN!!! It is beautifull!!! The soundtrack is the real aspect where this game shines. Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, what could you expect? There is no single track in the whole game that will dissapoint you. My personal favorites are Crono's theme music and World Revolution, they are some of the best video game tracks i've seen in my life.

The gameplay is the aspect where Chrono Trigger proves that it is an unique game. The battle system is turn-based, nothing new there, but there are no random encounters. Instead, the enemies are walking around the area, and when you reach them or they catch you, that's when the battle starts. This is just perfect. Now you don't have to worry about the sometimes annoying random encounters, now you can just run away from the enemies, making it more action based. Another thing that I personally like is the double and triple techniques. These are attacks that make use of two or three characters to make an all-powerfull attack.

If my review wasn't clear enough, let me say this from the bottom of my heart: This is undoubtably one of the best video games i've ever played. Words cannot describe how great this masterpiece is. It is, from a GREEEAT distance, the best SNES game ever, and also, One of the Best Video Games of All Time.
