Oh how much closer this games comes to a worthy simcity follow-up than the horror EA has released. Sure, it is not a full city simulator (keeping my fingers crossed for CIM-3 ;-) and there are some nuisances in UI and stuff, but the game has surprised and amazed me. I love the realism of the graphics and traffic options. The degree of micromanagement (time tables and ticket price for bus lines ;-) is really cool. The way the city naturally grows if you expand the road network is good, although would be perfect if there would be a bit more of control there. I can't wait to try the map editor. Sure I am comparing with the horrible EA simcity release, and perhaps that makes me overly positive about this game. But too me the CIM-2 has done right what EA has done horribly wrong. Looking forward to expansion packs and modding tools. I hope there will be a possibility of adding custom buildings to the game, after all that's what I personally liked doing most in SC4.
