So I got Jericho a couple of days ago and decided to give it a go,
hadn't heard or seen anything about the game yet, and I must say,
it really surprised me in a good way! I didn't expect much from the game at first, and the first level wasn't very impressive, but as soon as I killed the last boss, I was like s#$%, don't let this be the end of the game, I wanna keep playing! lol.

In the beginning of the game, you play as Ross, leader of a squad of witch-soldiers called Jericho, but at the end of the first level,
Ross dies and his spirit moves into one of his squad mates,
allowing the player to control that character.
This system works well, as you have to use different characters for different situations, and monsters. Black was my favourite because of the Ghost Bullet ability, scored a lot of headshots with that. :P

The story isn't that impressive, but it's still good. You have to save the world from the Firstborn, God's first created creature, and to do that you have to travel to different ages and places, including Rome and another place I forgot, lol.

The good:
- Awesome graphics, to me the levels looked really cool, really dark and evil
- Cool enemies. They range from human-like Cultists to flying wraith-like creatures. It's fun killing them, or being killed by them. :P
- Squad Control. This system worked very well in my opinion, it adds a little tactic to the otherwise brainless shoot-and-kill combat.
- Massive Combat. You'll walk into a corridor, and one of your squad mates will say 'They're coming, sir.' And by 'they', they mean 40-50 monsters just rushing at you and trying to kill you!
It can get really, really hard, I died a lot from the exploding monsters that kill you in one hit if you stand too close to them when they blow up.

The bad:

- The difficulty. Believe me, this game will kick your ass! You don't have much health, and you will go down in two or three hits if you're not careful enough. And sometimes the game just floods a room with monsters, half of them shoot at you, and half of them melee you. It's really hard to stay alive, even with the resurrecting abilities you have.
- Easy puzzles. Each time there is a puzzle, and you cannot solve it for like one minute, one your teammates shouts and tells you what you have to do. This might be a + for some people, but I like to figure them out on my own.
- Squad AI. The squad members often get in your way like idiots,
making it very hard to target a monster. And when you accidentally hit a squad member, he goes like 'Be careful, b*tch!'
Wish I could reply with 'Then don't stand in front of me while I'm trying to kill a monster, b*tch!'
- Lame ending.
After you kill the firstborn, the squad just runs back and dives into the water. And guess what comes next... The credits!

that was my review for Jericho, hope you had fun reading.
Peace.
