The first FPS for the PSP falls short in some areas. But overall it isn't a bad game...
This game has been anticipated buy PSP fans for a real long time. Many fans raved about the screens and videos. While others doubted the PSP's ability to "control" the game being that theres only one analong nub.
GamePlay::::::::::::
In coded arms you're a hacker, you must go into cyberspace and kill many enemies. The controls take time getting used to , I probably spent my first half hour playing the game, just getting used to the controls. Theres really no story in coded arms, basically just go around owning things. The level design is randomly generated, which seems cool, but the levels are repetitive and you get bored of them quickly. The AI isn't that smart either, pretty easy to beat.
:::::::::Graphics:::::::::::
The graphics in coded arms look awesome. Probably one of the better looking games for PSP. It has a really steady framerate , and the loading times are mad short. The weapon designs are cool and innovative, while on the other hand the enemy designs are pretty boring and dull.
:::::::Sound:::::::
The sound in Coded Arms is msotly composed of simple techno beats. It keeps you alive and into the game. The gun sounds are neat and cool.
::::::Overall:::::::::
I would recommend Coded Arms to any having the patience to get used to the controls.I would recommend it for FPS fans, who would want to play on the go. In conclusion, Coded Arms isnt a horrendous game, but it could've been better.One main thing that game lacks is having infrastructure mode. Coded Arms definatley desreves a rent..
