This game clearly borrows inspiration from the resident evil series, but unfortunately, it is before all the fixes and evolution brought by Resident 4. That being said, the game shares some of the same flaws. The Good - Game’s environment is alive! -- touches like the boat rocking in heavy weather; all the rain splattering on the screen and blood when you kill a zombie point blank - Interesting premise. While not the greatest and riveting plot, it is decent and tries to explain things. - Cinematic are very well done. - Decent graphics and visuals. - A must play for old school resident evil fans as they'll enjoy it a whole lot more. The Bad: - Controls and switching camera angles, and camera perspective can be frustrating. But the problem is really not as bad as some of the RE games or MGS. Still, there are better way to do things in this age. - Bland game plays.... - Not that scary The Ugly - A by-the-books horror game. Not the best game in the genre, but it is my no means a bad game. There are enjoyable moments, just that they are few and far in between. Sure, you will even jump once or twice but nothing really sticks out about this game, it’s all “been there done that” in a different shape or form. Buy, EBay or Rent: A definite rental game that you can finish in 15 hrs. Should pay no more than $10 on eBay.
