Cold Fear

Blood, gore, guns, and zombies. What's not to love?

When I first bought Cold Fear I thought it would just be another shoot 'em up zombie game. I figured that I could probably beat it within a week and get back to besting the Covenant in Halo 2. In fact, when I first popped it into my Xbox I was surprised at how cool it actually was. I liked the graphics, I loved the sound effects and creepy environmental sounds, and the story was actually pretty interesting.
The enemies are pretty intelligent and it's fun trying to kill them because the only way to do so is through decapitation, either with your killer aim, or under the heel of your boot.
In my opinion, this game can easily hold it's own in the crowded video game market and anyone out there with a craving for zombie slaying should pick up this phenomenal game. It's well worth your time and money.

  Cold Fear manages to cover up its shortcomings quite well despite a seeming lack of inspiration and poor execution.
