Well, it's October 2007 now and having had the benefit of playing nearly every FPS to date, something about Cold Winter just keeps bringing me back in. This game really nailed so many aspects of what makes a FPS game great - an engaging story, serviceable graphics, great explosions, good hit-detection, fun weaponry and lots of ammunition to wreak havoc with. If you are a fan of the FPS genre and haven't played Cold Winter yet I highly recommend trying to find a copy. If you enjoyed classic games like Goldeneye 007 for the N64, Cold Winter captures that elusive feel in many ways
