This game was an overlooked gem and by-far one of the best FPS on the PS2.

As said before, this game was one of the best FPS on the PS2. To name all of the positive aspects of the game : the voice acting was EXCELLENT, the action fast and enjoyable, the variety was excellent, the graphics good, the story compelling, and the multiplayer enjoyable. The bad things: can get linear at times and gets repetetive after the third playthrough. However, it seems that what decides a great game is the amount of money it makes and how much money it made. Cold Winter is a victim to this situation that propels games like Halo 2, even with ITS problems, to win every game of the year award out there. All together though, this game deserved much more recognition then it got and here's one player hoping for a PS3 sequel.
