Packaged as part of the original Sega CD offering, this is perhaps the best of the Tetris knockoffs. This game is so simple, yet gets so frantic and fast-paced that you have fun without even trying. Head-to-head play was a blast, and two hours could disappear in the blink of an eye. Gamepaly was simply manuevering columns of three colored cubes to form three of a color in a row, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You could shift the order of the cubes, but not the orientation of the piece itself. There was also a special glowing piece, used to eliminate all pieces of the color it touched, or in multiplay to eliminate waste rows for yourself or add them to your opponent. The graphics were nothing eye-popping, but they didn't really have to be. The music track was neither splendid, nor annoying. If based on pure fun factor, this game would be a ten.
