A surprisingly good game! Great gameplay and controls…just needs more.

I got this game mainly for its multiplayer feature (2-4 player offline), and was hoping that it would be a fun game to have people over and play a few games. I had my chance and it was a blast. After a few battles owning my friend, he actually came back and became quite the formidable foe. The gameplay is simple compared to many RTS games out there, but is deeper than you may think. Each unit has its own strengths and weakness, there are not many of them, but there is enough to make things interesting. My biggest complaint is that there needs to be more. There are only two types of terrain in the game, flat ground that units can move on and you can build structures on, and big rocks… that are just there to be an obstacle for your units and prevent you from building there. Sure that is all you need in this type of game but they could have just added more, like water that will prevent some units from passing, or a mountain that prevents air units from passing, just something. Another disappointment is the trophies. The trophies that are there just seem to be the bare minimum, beat this, use shortcut, box in enemies… wait, that's it. You do not have to do much to get all the trophies, but there is not much to earn. Regardless, what is there is fun. I think it is worth the $10 and your time.
