Another great title for the Command&Conquer Series!
For those of you who haven't played a C&C game here is what you need to know. C&C3 is a real-time strategy game where you start from scratch with few units and resources to build up a base and army to accomplish your mission objectives.
The game's difficulty is challenging, some of the missions will be push overs while others will drive you insane with how unforgiving the AI is while it repeatedly kicks your ass, even on the easiest difficulty. The joy of beating the frustrating missions will more than make up for the agonizing time you spent replaying and revamping your strategy for the missions. Be prepared to build and move fast in order to compete with the AI.
In skirmish matches the various AI opponents offer a challenging and downright thrilling experience. One such example is the Turtle AI, which concentrates on acquiring resources and building a defense worthy of Fort Knox. Most of the units in the game are balanced with some exceptions, but recent patches have fixed the issues.
The game's campaign scenarios for NOD, GDI, and Scrin don't take long to beat, but the multiplayer will have you coming back for more eye popping action.
The sound and the graphics in the game flow nicely. The voice acting is typical of the C&C franchise and often you'll enjoy the acting, even finding humor in the worst actors. The graphics are amazing, watching buildings and units explode leave you feeling deeply satisfied.
I think this game is a must for any real-time strategy and C&C fan. It will keep you entertained for hours on end, but at times will also frustrate you.
