Seems to deliver a solid gaming experience, just using some tried and true structure

I remember playing Command and Conquer Red Alert back when that first came out being amazed at what that game had (considering WHEN it came out) Now we are here some 10 years later still marveling at the sequels. They haven't strayed far from what was then a winning formula. Now it just seems like it's getting a little "played" out. Apart from that it is a solid game. It seems to be well balanced and easy to get into.

It looks like they went to a lot of effort to get the videos done right. The music and sound effects are pretty good. The graphics seem a bit pixely, but you can tell what everything is well enough.

This game can lead to playing your mission right through to the end. Once you get through to the end of the mission, I often found myself saying "I need to stop here for the night", rather than it being "Well, One more mission won't hurt" That's the true hallmark of a great Real Time Strategy game. So I would rate this a good and solid game, but not a great game.
