What had to be the epic ending, is now the epic fail. I will tell you why.
Well, i just have 2 pro's left. The graphics and the mysteriousity, wich both are the most negative points too. The graphics are exactly like RA3. But don't forget Red Alert was a saga with a comic style, while Tiberium was realistic. Now it isn't anymore. EALA tries to make you laugh with their animations for the units, but a die-hard, or even the young, C&C fan will cry will looking at it. The mystery isn't over. Good? No. Why? Because this story is like crap. It really is. You can absolutely feel EALA had to decrease money input.
That were the most disappointing points, but those points make the game bad too:
-No Hollywood starcast anymore (bad acting too)
-Gameplay is totally different (even when ignoring the crawlers,and lack of base-building)
-Strange and mediocre music
-Boring mission obejectives
-Mediocre multiplayer
-Has nothing to do with the ''real'' C&C Tiberium games
-Outdated systems and graphics
-Upgrade system isn't really great. Newbies have to avoid multiplayer. If not, other players will defeat them easily.
-There isn't really difference between most units. Also, the weapons system is way to basic.
-Collecting Tiberium Nodes is even more boring than watching as a spectator
So, if you ask me, a game way below the C&C standard and even far away from the RTS genre. Altough there's some gameplay wich could be fun (for like 6 hours), the rest of the game's bad.
My advice: Don't buy it until you can find it in the budget box for $10.
Note: It won't drop to that price quick, thinkin' that EA is the producer,
