iv never played the old Command & Conquer games but I can say these two are very Addicting and Zero Hour's extra Super Generals are Awesome.

C&C-G - well both games follow China, GLA & USA but C&C dos its story alot better then Zero Hour and some of the gameplay is better.
They both have multiplayer maps but Zero hour maps I think are better.

C&C-G ZERO HOUR - is alot better then C&C-G because of its new content and all of its fun new generals to choose from, It adds to the game witch greatly increase's its Replay Value.

Oh and Here are all the generals you can choose from in Zero Hour -
USA General Granger (Air Force)
USA General Alexander (Super Weapon)
USA General Townes (Laser)
CHINA General Fai (Infantry)
CHINA General Tao (Nuke)
CHINA General Kwai (Tank)
GLA Dr. Thrax (Toxin)
GLA General Juhziz (Demolition)
GLA Prince Kassad (Stealth)

Overall - Two Great Games for a pretty low price!
