This game has issues
Micro-managing is way too important, all units have special abilities that can change the tide of war if used at the right time. But at the same time, battles are way too fast, everything explodes or dies too quickly to react properly. Online has serious flaws. Automatch seems to have serious problems to find opponents and you cant easly find someone to play cooperative. The lobby has minimal features, you cant sort by name to find someone or invite someone who has just sent a private message, very clunky. At least there is no medal system, that I always hated.
The game is reasonably fun, specially in single player, but I do remember C&C3 being a better experience overall. Even the cutscenes seemed to be a bit worse in Red Alert 3. Having two characters in two different cameras is way too abused here. The sexy female cast is a plus, though.
Oh, well. I guess we will have to wait for Starcraft 2.
