This brings back memories. Yeah, one of those games.

Me and my dad played this way more than we should have. Countless houres played, so much so that the inconveniencies of the controls weren't even noticed. though its no red alert 2, it was what grabbed me so that when we first got a computer, command and conquer was the first game we owned. We even bought 2 playstations just so we could go multiplayer.

So the graphics aren't amazing, but these we're top of the line in, what, 1999? The different campaigns availiable for each team are great and, if you are up to play the game, will keep you entertained for hours. Then you beat both disks and require another psx to play a friend/relative and this is totally worth it. Finding a ps link cable these days is pretty tough though.
Instead of GDI vs NOD, its Soviet vs Allies. definately different, but very similar in many ways such as weapons. you will find the allies reflect the GDI and Soviet is very NODish.
overall, it was time well spent in my childhood, but it couldn't hold my attention for very long anymore. i dont know if this is due to the fact ive beaten it, or that i know the computer version can deliver so much more. its a good game, but only if you want to play it.
