With the exception of 15 new missions and a couple of soundtracks, don't expect too much.
However, Westwood Studios, for some reason, decided to release this right before the release of their next game.
The thing was, this expansion pack did very little.
Story:
There is none, to your disappointment. Just a bunch of new missions deemed impossible even for the most hardcore RTS gamer. It was more of a trial-and-error marathon than a real strategy test.
Gameplay:
A rehash of everything. You'll see everything from the original game here, with a bunch of new missions. The only new units are Nod's Chem Warriors and the SSM Launcher. Two units-that's it. Nothing more. They aren't even that impressive, to begin with. The Chem Warrior is basically a buffed up Flamethrower soldier while the SSM is an artillery piece with a big rocket.
Music:
Well, at least there was something good here. A few new soundtracks available. The music in C&C games never fail.
The lowdown:
From my point of view, this expansion pack just wasn't worth it. But hey, if you get the C&C First Decade collection, you'll get this along with all the other C&C titles.
With only 15 seemingly impossible missions, a few multiplayer maps and a new soundtrack, this was a disappointment to such a great series.
