Command and Conquer is truly the best RTS game ever created.
Why: Truly original and extremely fun gameplay. Setting up bases, moving your troops, even on the N64 controller, it's made so easy and the gameplay flows wonderfully as a result. You can get so immersed in this game and it never disappoints. Sure the levels get harder, but they are never puzzle-ridden or anything like that. Anyone who is a fan of RTS game should get this game, it won't dissappoint you.
Basically what the game is about is your a general for either of the two factions which are playable (GDI, or the Brotherhood of NOD). And, these two factions are in opposition, you carry out many tasks against the other faction and increasingly get closer to achieving whatever your faction's ultimate opbjective is. The story is very well done.
Graphics: 7
Why: The graphics aren't that great in this game as far as 3D goes, but it is good for a 2D game and I actually prefer sprites to 3D models as far as RTS's go.
Sound: 10
Why: Wow. I was shocked when I first played this game. The death screams of the soldiers are horrific and it makes you actually feel their deaths. As for the music, it's amazing. I could get a cd of this music and listen to it all day, it's so good.
Value: 9
Why: This game does not dissappoint. save for a few difficultily annoying levels, it's bang on.
